If you could see a remake of any 80s TV series, what would it be and why?

Topic.
I'd personally like to see a remake of Battle of the Planets, complete with he voice of Casey Kasem, who also did Shaggy in Scooby Doo, as Mark.. I have the original series DVD boxset, and even though I've only watched the first 2 discs of 6 to date, it's a classic IMO.
Another series I want a new version of would be Knightmare, starring Hugo Myatt again, but not David Learner as that annoying Pickle character or Stephanie Hesp as Majida, Treguard worked better on his own IMO, they tried to do a VR version a few years back, but the funding for it was pulled after everyone hated the pilot episode, which you can see on Youtube as well as most of the original series recorded off Challenge on Sky.
And finally, they should bring back some of the classic BBC Schools programmes that were on in the early 80s, especially stuff like Look and Read.. I saw Dark Towers in '81 at School and was very scared.
Any other ideas for remakes? There was a He Man remake in 2002, but IMO it sucked compared to the old ones.

Actually there were plans for a live action Thundercats movie, starring Vin Deisel as Panthro, there's loads of fake trailers for it on Youtube.
I have all the original episodes on DVD, might watch some after lunch.

I had all the figures, £8 for a 6 inch high plastic figure, bought from Woolworths in Town most Saturdays back in the mid 80s.
How about He Man? Apparently a new iive action movie is in the works, once again there are loads of fake trailers for it on Youtube, I think it might be good, better than the pants 1987 movie with Dolph Lundgren and the annoying Gwildor character anyway IMO.

What about remakes of Streethawk, Bluethunder or Airwolf?
Quantum Leap would be a good one to modernise!
As for Kids shows, what about Fun House (but only if it had twins again, and no Pat Sharp), Jossy's Giants would work well in the modern day, and since Saturday morning kids TV is non-existant, bring back Going Live, No. 73 or Multicoloured Swap Shop! (if only for the sweary phone-ins hahaha)

Some great mentions in here already. I actually came in to mention Knightmare but Quantum Leap is a good shout too - I absolutely loved that show... apart from the terrible ending where they just flashed up some text on the screen saying how he never got home
Scott Bakula isnt too old to reprise the role too!
