Day 5.

Breaking news. Richard Madely has left. He felt ill in the night and an ambulance took him to hospital. He was fine and discharged. However, as he had broken 'covid Bubble' he wasn't allowed back into camp. Of course tonight's show saw him still there.

Castle Coin Challenge taken by Frankie and Naughty Boy

A map of the world with grid markings. Postcard drops showing just a silhouette of the skyline. Had to guess  the place then find a stamp with matching grid reference and stick it on card. Then hang card on map. If correct the won a new postcard, if wrong, all the cards dropped. Had to start over and rinse and repeat.

They won and eventually coins dropped.

Off to Cledwins shop. Either flapjacks or crisps on offer. Chose flapjacks. To win, the other camp mates had to give correct answer to

What percentage of people thought it old fashioned for the man to pay for meal on 1st date. 19 or 35%. The group went for 35% which was correct. The group shared 3 flapjacks between 10 of them David Ginola had never tasted flapjacks but thought they were lovely.

Bit of aggro between camp mates when cooking rice. Main Camp had always cooked rice and beans so it was slushy. Naughty Boy (who will be called NB from now on), had been the cook in the clink. He cooked it properly.  He mentioned to Frankie that it wasn't rice pudding, it had to be cooked properly. Frankie made the mistake of saying 'in OUR camp we cook it like this' NB took exception to this and said it isnt YOUR camp we are all here now. Frankie stormed off.  We thought it was sorted. Oh No...more later

Next all camp mates went to the hall where they were introduced to 2 new camp mates 'Lords' Simon Gregson and Adam Woodyatt. The two had to do a total of  5 challenges (which I'm not listing) to win 12 stars. They won 11.

When they got back to main camp. 2 leather chairs for the Lords were there. Add to that a big double bed for use by the Lords only.

At meal time all 12 went to the Main main hall. A long table with 12 chairs and food for the camp mates to cook. Again Louise and Kadeena took charge of the cooking. NB asked if he could chop veg. He was told Louise was doing that. Yet again bypassing NB as if he was of no account.

I find that really annoying. NB when he realised his services weren't required, took himself off to bed without eating.

Yet again we saw a main camp pair, this time Kadeena and Louise, trying to explain about the mix up.

Sorry, I think main camp are of the opinion that they are superior to those from the clink and as they were in main camp first, the others had to adapt to their ways!

Anyway, moving on. Viewers voted for the candidate to do next challenge Creepy Closets. No shock that they chose NB yet again.

Day 6.

Celebrities woke to find Richard had gone. Campmates made his bed and got message from Richard explaining he had been unwell and had gone to hospital. After check up he was fine but because of Covid regulations couldn`t return to camp. All camp said they`d miss. Remainder of first part of show was Richard chatting to Ant and Dec and Richard said he wanted to be voted to do another trial.

NB told camp that after his trial he would be leaving camp the next morning. He told Snoochie he was missing his Mum. NB formed the Castle Orchestra. Simon and Adam made a drum which NB played; others banged buckets, lids, and sang and danced.

NB did the Trial - Creepy Closets. 6 closets with one star in first closet, and two stars in other 5 closets. NB faced fish guts tipped over him; 30 pigeons; flies; bearded lizards; snakes. He got all 11 stars.

While NB was doing his trial, camp invented new game, making a ball out of bag beans come in.

NB returned to camp. Campmates pleased for him and told him he would be joining in the cooking. NB announced that having got 11 stars and the response from campmates he wouldn`t be leaving.

Food arrive - monkfish. Simon gave instructions on how to cook it and everyone, including NB, joined in preparing the meal, which everyone ate.

Snoochie, Matty and Danny did the challenge. They had to lay cutlery out on marked places on a tipping table and then balance the table. They had to do this for four rounds. They completed it and won 20 coins.

Adam and Simon as Camp Lords chose prizes to buy for camp - fruit pastelles; half a chocolate orange; and biscuits.

Due to storm approaching the castle, Ant and Dec did not go into camp. There was no viewers vote as to who will be doing tomorrow`s trial.

So tomorrow`s show is a mystery...

Wonder what surprises are in store ???

I shall be watching....

I know it's heavily edited @Mi-Amigo  but I am getting fed up of NB saying he's going to leave. I felt sorry for him yesterday with Frankie making ref to it being OUR Camp (red team) and Louise and Kadeena doing the cooking and not letting NB even chop veg but..... NB talking about wanting to go home to see his Mum is ridiculous. He's 36 FGS.

Also, the trial he did was so easy! Probably one of the easiest ever seen on the show. I think this was done on purpose to make sure NB stayed.

Storm Arwen looks a bit grim. A friend of mine who lives in Wales says its awful.

I agree @Cleoriff. NB`s trial was way too easy. Rummaging among clothes for stars whilst gung dropped on him and having to unscrew threads for stars were just ridculously stupid.

Looks like Storm Arwen will have an affect on the show.

@Cleoriff

The Sun online has just reported Sat 27 Nov 2021, there will be NO I`m A Celebrity show this evening [Sat] or tomorrow evening [Sun] due to Storm.

The Sun reported

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here live episodes have been cancelled this weekend because of chaos caused by Storm Arwen.

Owing to technical difficulties caused by extreme weather conditions in the area, there will be no new episodes of I’m a Celebrity this weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Instead, the ITV reality show based at Gwrych Castle in north Wales will be replaced tonight and tomorrow night in the ITV schedules by compilation shows....

The Sun also reported - under Breaking News

  • BREAKING: I’m a Celebrity OFF AIR for two nights

I'M A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here will be OFF AIR for two nights after chaotic 98mph Storm Arwen battered the set.

The show's bosses decided to pull the episodes after the marquees holding the crew's equipment at Gwrych Castle, north Wales, were affected by the gales.

It is not yet known how bad the damage is - but no injuries have been reported, an I'm a Celeb spokesman confirmed.

Instead, ITV will play two "best of" shows to fill the prime-time 9pm slots.

Yes just seen that. It was obvious they were going to sustain damage somewhere.  Shame really. I bet they are giving the camp mates proper meals for 2 days.

CAMP MATES REMOVED FROM CASTLE

Breaking news, the camp mates have been removed from the castle due to fears for their safety. They will remain in their Covid bubble and should be returning on Monday. So we know for a fact they won't be starving! The IAC set has sustained a great deal of damage during the storm.

@Cleoriff

Tonight`s [Monday`s] I`m A Celebrity... has been cancelled but the show will return live from the castle tomorrow evening...

The Mirror online reported earlier today...

I'm A Celebrity will return to screens this week, after the Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly series was forced off air. The show was confirmed to be cancelled on Monday night yet again for the third episode running, but ITV has now announced it will be back on Tuesday evening.

The show has already been off air for two days - both Saturday and Sunday night - after the set was badly damaged by Storm Arwen and the poor weather conditions, with fans fearing the series would be axed altogether.

Behind the scenes, the crew have been working hard to get the show back on track after the storm caused damage to the site.

The famous names were all evacuated from the castle for their own safety, placed back into individual isolation while they awaited news on when they could return.

Hosts Ant and Dec will return to the castle in Tuesday night's live episode, while it's thought the stars will be back in on Monday if not Tuesday morning, given the events that air are normally from the day before.

The trials will also be back, with public voting back up and running once the show kicks off.

Following the delay to broadcasting, it is yet to be confirmed when the first star will leave the ITV series.
