November 21st is the start date for this years series. Due to covid restrictions, the show will be held in Gwrych Castle in Wales again and hosted by Ant and Dec.

The contestants have been named

Simon Gregson (Plays Steve McDonald in Coronation Street) Last year Beverley Callard who plays Steve's Mum Liz was on the show.

Adam Woodyatt (who plays Ian Beale in Eastenders)

Arlene Phillips. Ex SCD judge. At 78 Arlene is the oldest contestant to appear on the show

Frankie Bridge (Singer from The Saturdays)

Richard Madeley TV Broadcaster

Matty Lee (Diving Partner of Tom Daley)

Naughty Boy (never heard of him but is a DJ and music producer.)

Danny Miller. (Plays Aaron Dingle in Emmerdale)

David Ginola (ex Footballer)

Kadeena Cox (Olympian Gold medallist)

Louise Minchin (TV broadcaster)

DJ Locksmith (DJ another one I haven't heard of)

Snoochie Shy (Model and TV presenter. Who?) 😂

So there we are. Some good, some bad and some I've never heard of. Really looking forward to it.

Thank you @gmarkj As I said before, I too wanted Frankie to win but think Danny was a worthy winner.

As to the Castle as a venue, I agree with you and @Cleoriff it has run its course. Too many of the trials were similar - with a couple of exceptions [the rotaing cage; and tomb of doom - not just because Frankie did them but because of the challenge. That said, I did think sme of the Coin Challenges were fun and more entertaining than the trials.

Getting IAC back in the jungle will hopefully mean a return of some of the high-wire trials and more creature trials.

We must remember Weds night when IAC Legends is on at 9pm @Mi-Amigo and @gmarkj. I think it shows all of the contestants coming out, plus previous winners.

Wonder how many previous winners, and who, they`ll have on ? Hope G, last year`s winner makes an appearance. 

I thought the usual celebs get-together is in the New Year. Is this in place of, or as well as ?

I honestly don't know @Mi-Amigo. After the show the presenter announced it as the credits were rolling?

One thing I have missed is the behind the scenes bits of family and Bob the medic doing all the checks, including how much weight they all lost!
