True...and a good comeback from someone who obviously gets fed up of the older generation saying 'in my day' wink I hated my Mum and dad saying that to me....and sadly I have turned into my Mum...LOL

Apart from the old picture which only relates to the daily commute for work, the unfortunate thing about the new picture is that it could be a cross-section of today's generation transposed into any background, buses, trains, home, cafes and restaurants, walking down the street, in the pub, schools, hospitals, doctor's surgeries/healthg centres,work etc etc.

This is life whereby a mum will give a 2 or 3 year old child her smart phone to play a game rather than a toy, comic or book. This a world we have made for ourselves but I just think it's such a shame that we now seem to have lost the innonence of childhood and the art of conversation.

I see these as one and the same @jonsie, a smartphone game for small children or a book/toy/comic are all distractions :). Just my view on it.
