Apart from the old picture which only relates to the daily commute for work, the unfortunate thing about the new picture is that it could be a cross-section of today's generation transposed into any background, buses, trains, home, cafes and restaurants, walking down the street, in the pub, schools, hospitals, doctor's surgeries/healthg centres, work etc etc.
This is life whereby a mum will give a 2 or 3 year old child her smart phone to play a game rather than a toy, comic or book. This a world we have made for ourselves but I just think it's such a shame that we now seem to have lost the innonence of childhood and the art of conversation.
Yes I am my dear dad

I see these as one and the same @jonsie, a smartphone game for small children or a book/toy/comic are all distractions :). Just my view on it.
