Is there any way to retrieve game progress?

I've used Smart Switch to transfer all my games to my new Galaxy S8+ but, of course, have lost all my progress. Is there any way I can get my progress back?

I seem to recall some suggestions a while ago when discussing this prior to the Note7 recall but can't remember what they were.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Are they Facebook related games, or can you log in to your FB account on them?
If you do that on your old phone and then the new one then you will get your level but not sure of any bonuses/etc...

Most are FB related @gmarkj but I'm not on FB.

I'll have a look and thanks for your suggestion which was good and could help someone who is on Facebook.

Luckily my progress on Candy Crush was linked to my account.
Was only on level 1324 when I had to get my phone repaired. Think if I had to start again I wouldn't have bothered!!

Whilst you may not have a desire/need to use Facebook (and given how much of my time it manages to eat, I can fully understand that!) it may perhaps be worth signing up for a FB account, logging in on your old phone and linking the games and then logging in on your new phone to cary across the progress - there's no need to actually use the account, and you could even perhaps use a psuedonym?

Alternatively, I know that Google Play carries some game progress itself if you link games to your game profile, although it seems a bit hit and miss!

Thanks @Wa10 I'll try that. Your absolutely right I have no desire to use Facebook. However, if it gets me my progress back it will be worth it.

Make quick Facebook account.
Go in each game on old phone and link to fb.
Go in each game on new phone and link to fb.
Choose server save when prompted
Done
