..... & can't seem to give the damm thing away
It was a buy from me to me for my 60th in January BUT my old & impaired brain won't process the on-screen instructions = no paper instructions as back-up & oh boy are the instructions of the verbal diahorrea type
I am vexed as it was a logical thing for me to do & was offerred help from an author friend of mine = Nhys Glover (Google her) but she got busy which is a good thing for her
I am not one to bleat but I'm really stuck and so much is Kindle only on Amazon now - I'm into werewolf romance atm
It is hard for me to do IT stuff as it must be for you, dear reader, to understand my struggling with 21st century IT stuff
Before my son 29 flew the nest he would have patiently explained it all to me BUT he is busy & I don't want to pester him & make a nuisance of myself = I just make a nuisance of myself here on O2 Community Forum
Any help would be much appreciated as always

Thank you for that BandofBrothers & explaining why to keep on topic is important and for me to mess it up with chit-chat is silly/unhelpful ..... there is a place for chit-chat & yes I understand
I will try to be much more tidy & respectful of others accessing the topic title for info regarding forum etiquette from now
I can see how I've been mixing genuine topic stuff and drivelling on about personal chit-chit which only mixes/messes the whole think up & is confusing and non-efficient for viewers interested in the topic title
& I don't wish to be thought a spoiler or a TROLL - is it?
Will you tell me nicely again if I have an abberration in the future please?
Thanks again
You have a good day now,

Also @Anonymous I hope you have received my PM which is aimed to help you as well...
I learnt the 'hard way'...I am very guilty of wandering off topic on lots of occasions...
Just to confirm...stay as you are...a breath of fresh air...but as BoB said, maybe in the right section...
Oh...and to go off topic once more. I am now off to enjoy the sun.

BandofBrothers & Cleoriff
I can take constructive criticism any day of the week
Why didn't I just pm you with my chit-chat stuff? = I just don't know = its there right in front of my face in my section of O2 Community Forum
Is there a way to post in pm-ing the same pm to different 'friends' at the same time ie without having to key in a similar message to more than one person?
Cleoriff I see have 2 pm's which I shall now read
And maybe I will take my Kindle & accessories with me & my new MI5 recommended phone to have a virtual quiet drink in the corner of Wantys Bar sometime
Take care all

Hi @Anonymous
Yes you can PM the same message to different users.
Just type the user names in the 'Send To' box in the Pm page.
I've tried this before, but it didn't work = do you maybe not leave spaces between each persons username? ..... I will now go to pm you to see if it gets through

I managed to do it by leaving one space between each username I think
Will you let me know if it hasn't gone through please

"Kicked the printer"
Thank you for making me smile.
Rofl.... Priceless.
I hope all this fantastic advice and offers of help go someway to move you on to enjoying your Kindle.
Well kicking the printer is better than kicking the cat
I once kicked the fridge & the black mark from the sole of my trainer is still there to prove it :smileywink:
Yep, I'm a 'thrower' but not proud of it :smileysad I not that long ago threw 1/2 cuppa tepid tea at someone in the local Wetherspoons (she was doing her best to wind me up & then I snapped), but that's not why I'm barred from there :womansad: it was all a bit of a misunderstanding on last November's BBC Children in Need day ie I put my Pudsey Bear spotty red bucket on the bar for safety & the barman somehow thought I was fundraising in the pub, they fundraise for cancer charity Clic Segeant ..... taken by surprise I reacted rather than responded ..... I called him a prat for re-arranging the tables silly-like eg so's the waiters don't know where all the numbered tables now are & he split up the only 6-seater table in the 'family section' = the Menwith Hill lot get settled there as do the young mothers & I've seen 3 generations of one family there
I'm chuffed I've made you smile :womanvery-happy:
Yes, I quite like a good bit of rofcgu myself :robottongue:
A smile costs nothing does it
As for the Kindle ..... I've yet to tell Aldaweb is it I think? that I'm a total blank canvas ..... I have a SKY hub box for internet & could not do the connection thing ..... yes, I'm very grateful to him for his offer of help :womanvery-happy:
Thank you BoB
