Today is the 100th birthday of this remarkable man Captain Tom Moore, who has raised over £29 million for the NHS.
The Queen has made him a Honorary Colonel.
He has also been made an Honorary England Cricketer by Michael Vaughan
His birthday celebrations will include a fly past by the RAF.
He has received 1000's of cards including one from the Queen

I agree about the Knighthood. However they were talking about this to someone from the army. Honorary Colonel is an extremely high honour and only given to very special people @Mi-Amigo
By the way, the flypast was brilliant and his total raised has now hit £30 million.

Happy Birthday Sir Tom, (and yes this hero should be recognised by a Knighthood, I'm going to call him Sir regardless)) what an amazing achievement and it absolutely demonstrates how you can achieve the unthinkable if you make the effort and get out of your comfort zone, Legend.
