I had treated myself to his book ... it arrived 2 days ago
Flicking through the photos ... the caption on one said: his [Tom's] grandfather built Keighley War Memorial and the photo was the unveighling of the memorial ... I hadn't so far connected Tom to West Yorkshire. I have spent many happy hours in those memorial gardens: having a pack-up lunch - waiting for a friend to go to lunch - just sitting there enjoying the sunshine before catching the bus home.
