As I'm out of contract now can I swap to a SIM only tariff or just get a new SIM for the Pixel and stay on my current tariff?

You can do either option. Check if there are better sim only deals than you are currently getting.

You should swap to a simo regardless of doing anything else as you will most likely save money, esp if you are paying for a phone too on a standard tariff.

Current phone is all paid for so will only need the new SIM.

Just sim swap in store if you are happy with current airtime plan or look at the latest simo deals if you need more or less of something.

I am eligable for an upgrade and this was the only phone that would tempt me in upgrading. I was disappointed with iPhone 7 and i am normally a massive iPhone fan but for me nothing major stands out for me to get it.

Also i have always got my phones directly from o2 and will always carry on getting phones from o2 so unless it does the pixel phone, i will wait.
