ok so the phone is expensive as soon as i saw that they would be doing the 1+3 phone it was obvious that the pixel would be getting the boot

ages ago when i was with carphone warehouse 02 before i got migrated to 02 direct you couldnt phone 02 for support you had to go through cpw who would fob you off
not sure if the same thing still applies ???

a cracking write up is listed here
the comments section at the bottom is so true its sad
for those that dont want to read it the gist is google is sticking 2 fingers up to nexus owners as a way of thanking them for supporting the nexus programme since inception in 2010 (me included) they now seem more interested in getting stuff onto IOS and moving away from AOSP for its own devices and skinning the android overlay with google much like samsung and htc do
please read the comments it will make you think

Yes sadly it looks like pixel exclusive apps and skins will move quite far away from stock Android AOSP than anyone would have expected.
Let this sink in, after pixel, the closest brand to vanilla Android will be Sony, then Google.

You can get a replacement sim with your current o2 number for free.
