Wow phones have really changed in the last 30 years
I can't imagine using one of the first phones ever (even though it was already before my time lol).
I can't imagine using a black and white screen or a keyboard......

Caveat: The UK's first mobile call, not the first mobile call ever. The first mobile call made with subscriber equipment was made on 3rd April 1973 by Martin Cooper who was a research executive with Motorola.

I first used a Motorola which was basically a telephone handset on a car battery.

My first mobile phone was a christmas present in about 2000.
It was a Motorola U phone. It had an aerial and big chunky buttons. The first and last Motorola phone that I've ever used.
