Hey everyone,
So it’s Friday the 13th today which has got a bit of a bad rep these days. Around three-quarters of UK adults say they have suffered from bad luck on Friday the 13th and even businesses are not immune to this superstition with hotels skipping room the number 13 and car registrations adding a digit to avoid the number 13.
The origins of 13 being an unlucky number have routes in the bible, Norse mythology and the knights templar.
Personally I’m not terribly superstitious and always seem to have a good day on Friday 13th. Does anyone have any stories of bad luck on Friday 13th? Or is it a regualar day for you too?

In GB black cats are considered to be lucky
I'm not a superstitious person ... rather ... I'm a spiritual person ... do you put shoes on the table ? which is considered bad luck ... I don't do that for hygiene reasons

@Anonymous I hadn't heard about that one, putting shoes on the table. However at least in my family if you place the bread upside down it's considered bad luck!
I think there's always good and bad things in a day and whenever it's Friday the 13th, all the (normal) bad stuff are automatically attributed to it.
Yesterday was snowing here though. I think that's definitely due to the 13th!
