Starting a new thread (before the last one gets split again)...:smileytongue:

It is 2018, The year of the Halo... Like it or hate it, it will be implemented as part of new FIA rules

None of the 2018 cars have been revealed yet (that happens in February) but this is how it will look

Image result for Fi Mercedes cars with Halo

Most drivers' aren't keen but are having to toe the party line...

Can't wait to see them.

Supposedly allow for more overtaking but those front wings are wide, I can see a lot of new wings needed.

Monaco will be even more of a procession....joy

Monaco has always been a parade and it's the least enjoyable F1 event for me personally.

Mine too....though they can't afford to lose the money Monaco puts into the F1 coffers.

It's more of a fashion show for the rich and famous unfortunately. I think qualifying is far more exciting than the race, first corner excepted....

Yes, that's been posted on an F1 forum I belong to. Luckily he escaped unhurt....

Maybe they should have a clause in their contract about dangerous sports in their downtime.

Can you imagine the reigning world champion missing the season as he was injured?

Ocon would have got his chance in that car much earlier than expected Fear

The F1 team bosses have voted for their driver of the year.

Although the actual vote is kept secret to protect the bosses it is said 8 out of 9 voted for the same driver

Lewis Hamilton...Max Verstappen is in 2nd place
