From 1/1/2025 Lewis Hamilton became a Ferrari driver.
The Ferrari media team released a very clever post.
Note the time it was posted. 16.44. 16 is Charles Leclerc's race number and 44 is Lewis Hamiltons number. (they are now team mates). Interesting to note that Mercedes have lost just under a million followers and Ferrari have gained over a million.
With all his farewell commitments to Mercedes, Lewis has not tested in last years Ferrari. (All new drivers did a test run in Abu Dhabi.) It's understood, he will be testing in Marinello, Italy, later this month.
A lot to learn. New car, new steering wheel, new team, new race engineer and new language.
Personally, I'm not expecting him to do that well initially. Only time will tell.
* F1 live at the O2 Arena London. February
* Pre- Season Testing in Bahrain 26th-28th February.
* 1st Race - Australia Friday March 14th-Sunday 16th March.

Be interesting to see if Charles is penalised
That was totally pathetic. The Ferrari mechanic had ONE job to do, get Leclerc out of the garage safely. The idiot didn't even look behind. Had he done so he would have seen Norris also being released from his garage into the pitlane.
This picture shows some of it but the top image needed another frame to show Norris being pushed against the wall.
The bottom picture shows Norris being pushed back to garage grid for a change of wing.
The punishment was $10,000 dollars for Ferrari. A drop in the ocean which certainly wouldn't cover the cost
of $250,000 for a new wing. Ferrari knew they'd messed up as 4 Ferrari mechanics helped pushed the car back.
They needed a bigger penalty than that. Yes it was 'only practice' but it was the most important session. The first time any of the cars had raced in the dark on the Singapore track.
Due to the two red flags they'd lost 22minutes of night running team.
Had this been Hamilton I guess he would have had a 3 place grid drop. As happened in Zandvoort. The cars were making his way to the grid slot BEFORE the Formation lap and according to the FIA although he DID slow at yellow flags, he didn't slow enough. So they waited until the race had finished then slapped him with a 3 place grid slot for his home race at Monza. Lewis didn't even know about this grid drop until he'd got home. (2 hrs after race end) Had they wanted to punish him, they could have given him a 5 or 10 second penalty during the Zandvoort race...but No, it's Lewis so we'll give him a grid drop.
Anyway, FP3 is nearly ready to start.

FP3 Singapore
Lawson put his car in the wall again. His team wont be pleased as he crashed out in FP2.
They have a lot of work to do to get him ready for Qualifying

Lawson isn't having a good weekend in Singapore
The first image shows his crash in FP2 yesterday
The bottom image is just after todays crash in FP3. You'll see from the right front wheel.

Forgot to say Hamilton is being investigated for a Red Flag infringement.
The commentary team aren't sure what rule he broke 😂
He was following when Lawson crashed and apparently LH was looking at Lawson to see if he was ok. Red flags came out.
OR:
The Red flags were still out when he entered the pits..so was he driving too fast.
Just waiting to hear if he has another grid penalty.

Post race, the two Williams drivers Sainz and Albon, have been disqualified. Apparently the FIA who examine the cars post race, found that their cars failed the check, Both cars rear wings were found to be illegal.
They were 12th and 13th and now will start at the back of the grid. All cars below them will now move up two places.
