So breaking news before the start of the 2024 season:
Lewis Hamilton appears to be making a move to Ferrari for the 2025 season
A major shock as he signed a two year contract with Mercedes last season. So whether it was one year with an opt out clause for 2025 is anyone's guess.
This seems to be anything but a silly season rumour!
MOTORSPORT: HAMILTON TO FERRARI
SKY NEWS: HAMILTON TO FERRARI FOR 2025
A lot more news happening but I'll post that later. For now, I need to go and have a lie down 😂
NB As Charles Leclerc has just signed a contract extension with Ferrari, it looks as if Lewis would be replacing Carlos Sainz.
It won't be a popular move. Also, not sure how Mercedes will handle that news THIS year as Lewis is driving for them until the end of 2024.
Will they put all their eggs in George Russells basket? (Hamilton came 3rd in the drivers championship last year and Russell came 8th)
Questions Questions!!🤔

The Visa Cash App RB car reveal is happening in Las Vegas tonight, so the UK fans won't get to see it until tomorrow morning. I hope the livery is better than the name!
In other news, Christian Horner, team manager of Red Bull, is under investigation for 'Inappropriate Behaviour' with a female team member. Currently the investigation remains inhouse at Red Bull.

I really dislike the guy so I'm hoping whatever the outcome he will be forced out of F1
I hate smug and arrogant people
I feel the same about him @jonsie. I've never forgiven him for encouraging Michael Masi, the race director, to break two major rules in Abu Dhabi 2021, costing Lewis his 8th WDC.
Mind you, I think there were a few people at the top who were keen to ensure Schumachers record wasn't beaten.

I'm still waiting on the ruling about Red Bull exceeding the allowed budget for that season and there being a points deduction. That would have given Lewis his 8th...
Was anything published about any punishment that I may have missed?

No @jonsie. It took the FIA until March to publish the findings of the Abu Dhabi race which they put down to 'human error' and sacked Masi.
Re RB and the cost cap, they just received a smack on the wrist, a fine and a loss of a few hours in the wind tunnel.
All pretty stupid when Ross Brawn made a statement when the cost cap was announced that " penalties for exceeding it would be severe and championships could be lost"
Yeah right. I'm still waiting for Max to lose the 2021 WDC!!

Eventually the Visa Cash App RB is revealed. Although it was thought the commentary team would be calling it VCarb, we now know it will be referred to as RB.
Zak Brown (Team Boss Mclaren) is said to be fuming. The amount of parts this car is using from Red Bull. he feels Red Bull has two teams on the grid.
VCARB-01 takes its front pull-rod and rear push-rod suspension from Red Bull, with this design becoming a common trend among the teams to launch their new machines thus far.
The power steering, brake system, gearbox and exhaust are also from Red Bull Technologies, with the team designing the monocoque and brake ducts itself as per the regulations. It will also be powered by the Red Bull/Honda powertrain engine.
