The BBC have announced that two patients in the UK have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

No further details have been given other than they are both members of the same family and are receiving specialist NHS care.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51325192

At present, 83 Britons and 27 foreign nationals are flying back to the UK from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak.

The flight is due to land at RAF Brize Norton at 13:30 GMT.

The UK passengers will then be taken to Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral and quarantined for two weeks.

Students in York Uni not happy, should have been told earlier. Now trying to track down people who were up to 2 meters near sick student. Trying to hide truth never works 👎
Sad sad 😭

Good grief, I am so sorry @Anonymous
I heard it unfolding very very early on in the event. I was listening to Farmers whingeing about not getting paid for their sick cattle, so sent them to market. I heard it
on the 4am farming programmes on the radio. Talking to family who were in the meat industry about it told to not eat beef. So stopped immediately. Then months and months later Gummer pretended to feed his grand daughter a beef burger etc. Deny deny deny.
I never ate beef again. Can't trust anyone.
I regrettably hear the same denials coming through wholesale regarding York.
