If Professor Brian Cox is to be believed Humans can't exist outside our current ecosystem. Sure we can live within a controlled environment however outside one in deep space, we'd be truly screwed. Bottom line is unless you're wealthy we're getting wiped out like dinosaurs eventually.
At the back of my head, I hope there is another planet or an easy accesible form of fuel for longer space journeys. However I think my point is, I watch too much science programs and Star Trek isn't happening any time soon.
Richard Branson is a clever guy though by looking for business's in seeemingly non-existant places. Now he needs to invent 6G with speeds up to 1Gbb/s and everyone will be happy.
