Hey guys,

As you know I'm a keen follower of political cats so it's great to see 2 new additions to the governments ever growing army of mousers!

Evie and Ossie will join the team keeping the Cabinet Office clear of rats and mice and possibly getting into a scrap with the notorious Larry at number 10

Evie and Ossie!

@Cleoriff haha yes we had 7 at one point. Not ideal in a small property so we ended up with 4. I have 2 currently and there enough of a handful!

Luckily my house is full of windows and patio doors which are always open (to a lesser extent in winter) ...I just hated the thought anyone would walk in and think the house smells of cats. I have air fresheners everywhere.. pot pourri and scented candles.....(just to make sure I cover everything) LOL

I found out the hard way pot pourri and cats are a bad mix, most ended up on the floor Smiley Very Happy

@Anonymous I've never tried it but curious to see if it has an effect on my cats. I hear it's hit and miss if it works or not.

One of my cats reacts to catnip, the other one does not really care... If catnip doesn't have any effect, you might want to try alternatives like valerian or honeysuckle, in case your cats like those more. slight_smile

Only ever had one cat who liked catnip. She scragged a new toy to bits to get at it. None of my others have sshown any interest at all. (Except Malone. He used to sniff it then run a mile...Surprised
