Britain`s Got Talent returns to ITV tonight [Sunday 30 August] at 6.30pm with a one-off show - Britain`s Got Talent: The Finalists Revealed, which was pre-recorded [before Simon Cowell`s back injury] and will show the judges reducing 200 acts to 40.

The 40 acts chosen by the judges will join the Golden Buzzer acts:

Sing Along With Us, singing group - David`s Golden Buzzer; Fayth Ifel, 12year old singer - Simon`s Golden Buzzer; Nabil Abdulrashis, comedian; Jon Courtney, comedy singer - Ant & Dec`s Golden Buzzer; and Honey and Sammy, mother and daughter singers - Amanda`s Golden Buzzer

in the semi-finals.  

The first of five pre-recorded semi-finals will be screened on ITV next Saturday [5 September], with the judges picking one act to go through to the final, and the public voting for another act once the episode is shown.

The final will be shown live - without Simon Cowell in the hotseat, who will be replaced by Ashley Banjo.

We agree @Cleoriff on The Coven. I so hope they got the public vote and are in the final

The young magician and the lady singer were ok but I wasn't keen on any of the other acts.

Didn't enjoy the Victoria Wood wannabee and definitely wouldn't have been my choice to go through to the final.

According to speculation on DigitalSpy the acts in the last semi-final - this Saturday - will be

1. Soldiers of Swing    = singers
2. Hakan Berg             = magician
3. Aidan McCann        = young magician
4. Chrissy Lee               = drummer
5. Shalom Chorale       = singers
6. Wesley Williams      = unicyclist
7. Beth Porch               = singer/guitarist
8. Nabil Abdulrashid   = comedian

Must say I was quite disappointed with the show tonight.

It's quite difficult to choose anyone really

Soldiers Of Swing Very poor. As my other half said...Pub Singers!

Hakan Berg. As silly as he was, he made me laugh.

Shalom Chorale. Very good but not my sort of thing.

Wesley Williams Made a few mistakes on the smaller bike but got better at the end.

Chrissy Lee. Not impressed. I know she's 77 but was totally out of time with her drumming

Nabil Abdulrashid. Comedian. He didn't make me laugh much.

Aidan McCann. Magician. Pity he wasn't in the studio. Although I did think his act was very good

Beth Porch. My opinion is a bit controversial. I didn't think she was that good and disliked her playing the nurse card.

So if I have to choose 3, they would be Hakan Berg, Aidan McCann and probably Wesley Williams

The judges (except Amanda) went with Nabil. Amanda would have chosen Wesley.

This episode was by far the worst in my opinion.

I honestly wouldn't have paid to watch any of them tonight in all honesty.
And that includes Amanda Holden!

There will be only ONE public voted person going through.

I know they have tried to put on a show despite Covid, but in honesty, I wouldn't have chosen half of those acts.

We haven't got one decent dance troupe on.
