Hi guys,
Over my time here, I've seen many mentions of good books and blogs that you have read.
This made me think that a healthy discussion might be a good idea, where we can all share our favourite reads and recommend them to others.
So, what books have you loved?
I have just finished reading 'The Psychopath Test' by Jon Ronson. Funny, well written and makes you think

I'm in the middle of The Snowman by Joe Nesbo but after that I'm looking for a good series of books to read.
Think I'll be trawling the best sellers on Amazon!

yep = Jack Reacher (Men want to be him, women want to be with him) - Lord of the Rings & prequel = The Hobbit - To Kill A Mockingbird was my GCE Olevel English Literature book & I can remember the black & white film starring Gregory Peck - The Harry Potter series, read avidly upon publication (my son prides himself on not reading any or seeing any of the movies) - Fluke by Stephen King (my son loves to read him on ebooks) - cat books eg currently reading Homer Blind Wondercat - anything by David Baldacci (thriller-type + more) - autobiographies particularly sportsmen/women (I am not sporty except netball/circuit-training & badminton when at Grammar School) ..... I have a bad habit of having several books on-the-go at once (including one in my handbag) - nearly finished The Virginia Monologues by Virginia Ironside, a former agony aunt, written when she was 65 (I am recently 60) so I can relate to much of what she writes about ..... luv Amazon for books ..... why can't I seem to use paragraphs to make my script more easier to read ??? !!! xXx

I hear 50 Sheds of Grey is a rivetting read. Can't recommend any fiction to you though.

I'm about to start this. I've seen the movie so many times now, but have never picked this up I'm ashamed to say!

@TobyAn absolutely brilliant book. I thought the film was good but the book transcends that.
I loved the earlier works of Stephen King. I find some of his more recent books are a tad too
'clever/complicated' to be as enjoyable (a personal opinion of course)

Definitely one of my favourite books
Also loved Fahrenheit 451. Highly recommended for the dystopia lovers.

My claim to fame - I had the actual Snoopy curtains that were used in the flim of The Shining. My neighbour was one of the assistant directors and got them for me. I was 5 when the film came out so I didn't really appreciate them at the time!
