How are your pet rats doing?

If I remember rightly you keep the males & females separately ... does that mean you don't neuter / spay them ... I say this as I'm a cat lover & believe in looking after my cat's health = he's a male & was neutered at about 3.1/2 years when he was placed in the rescue centre ... so he has some 'furry balls' & theoretically could have sired some kittens ... Marty is 12 years old now, I've had him for 8 years & he's very laid back which male cats arn't if they are left un-neutered
