Samsung come out on top in S Korea but have to pay Apple some money http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-19364875
Apple come out on top in USA and samsung have to pay http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-19377261
Win Win for apple but could be bad news for usa consumers.

I don't think you'll have any trouble at all.

As far as I've read, Apple seems to patent every mechanical feature of their technology. However it seems there is no mention of software in a physical or operational method.
That is not to say, there is no documentation on this, however it should be accesible to almost everyone don't you think. You can't just create something, keep it's design and purpose secret and then all of a sudden throw a hissy and magically reveal some paper work which wasn't on view before.
