Does anyone know Rewards vouchers expire after a few minutes?

Hi, Just curious why, once you hit 'use now' you only have a certain number of minutes to use your voucher before it expires? For Caffe Nero it is 15 mins and I think for the old Boots Meal Deal it was much less. Basically, I assume the voucher is unique and can only be used once, in which case why not just have it expire at the end of the day? Thanks

@Anonymous not sure if this helps but I used to work with a partner who provided offers via O2 Priority.

The reason timed offers were introduced was as part of the original agreement we would offer O2 a set number of vouchers per day/period, O2 obviously have more customers than vouchers. so the time was introduced so that people would only claim their vouchers when they were at the point of service rather than in advance which may be people who claim and never use (also helps to prevent them passing them on).

If the voucher was redeemed but then expired due to non-use it meant we could re-release the voucher to another customer
