I tried to use a priority just after 5pm for the two free drinks on a Thursday at an ember inns. App wouldn’t load. Turned WiFi off still no luck. Walked outside venue. Still nothing. So I left and went home. I thought coverage was supposed to be good on o2? I got home, I tried my phone again and the offer loaded so I tried to use it again before leaving the house but was then all out of stock. What do I need to do to get this to work? 😰

You just need a phone signal to load the app.
Unfortunately, the O2 network is overloaded in many areas these days.

Hi, first post 🙄 I'm the same, 02 signal where I live is ment to be 100% ok. So I'm wondering if it's my phone? I was gonna get one on contract but cos I changed my tariff, my eligibility for a contract goes back to the start, wait 3months all over again. Wasnt happy abt that. So I'm gonna buy new phone in 2weeks, I'm hoping it's my phone cos I'm kinda regretting the contract now, I only get signal if my phone is at window, very frustrating. My friend comes up with his EE and he has full 5g?? Hope I'm not away to spend £300 and it's not my handset. Samsung S8, switching to A70. All because I cant get signal and I'm in a 2yr contract. I wouldnt mind if I can sit in my sofa and use my phone, but I cant.
So as to ur question, u just dont get a good signal.
As for customer help, dont get me going on that one, saying that 02s helpful compensation did make up my loss, but still, hate sitting at the window, I'm 47 fir heavens sake. Plz be my handset. Tip for 02, listen to ur customers, these call centres just frustrates the hell outta u. U dont understand them, they dont understand u (scottish). All I wanted was my new sim to have my original number, they cut both phones off for almost a week, fix it, then reverse it for another 2days. I had to go out and buy new sim n credit just to call them.
Point is, these asian call centres are no good for anything apart from paying money. They just read the screen regardless of ur interruption abt the things there reading. Get british ppl, problem would not have happend if the customer agent total misinterpreted me, cos of my accent. They just do not listen to u.
Apart from that, 02 have been good to me I cant say anything bad really.
I just have pity for the next agent I call when my new handset makes no difference lol
