Number Porting

Hi

I recently moved to 02 from Sky Mobile in a Sim only product.

At the time of apply I requested my current mobile number to be ported over and provided 02 the PAC code during the purchase.

I have received the sim card yesterday and it has a new number and my old Sky sim card is still working with my current number.

I called 02 yesterday and they said there was no number porting showing so took all the details and said the port will be complete by today 13th April 2023 by 6pm.

This morning I have checked the 02 sim and when I call out it shows my old number but it wont accept any incoming calls and my old Sky sim is still working, is this normal? will the port be completed and everything ported over so I can accept incoming calls and do outgoing (which I can now)?

I am just a bit confused.

Also when I log in to my 02 yesterday it was showing my new temp number and today it shows my old number so that has changed overnight, I am just wondering when the full port will be done?

Just keep rebooting the phone.

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.

Thank you for the advise.

I have rebooted the phone a few times and still no joy, I have a iPhone and in settings under phone it still shows the new temp number and when I attempt to change it with my old number it doesnt seem to save.

I will wait a few more hours and if no joy will call 02.

All sorted my number was ported over yesterday and everything works fine.
