Unable to redeem my 'extra'

Have just upgraded to a sim only deal and chose Cafeyn option for my 'extra'. When I try to redeem, I'm prompted to activate the Cafeyn account through Facebook account (which I don't have) or through email and password. Presumably this is the password from my 'My O2' account as I don't yet have one for Cafeyn. I have tried several times, and I know the password is correct as I used it to access the My O2 account earlier today, but apparently it's invalid, and there's no 'forgot password' option. I'm pretty confused, to be honest!

Thanks for the reply, but what new account are you referring to? I can't see any such option when I choose 'redeem now'. I can only activate Cafeyn account through Facebook (not possible for me) or through email address and then password - but I have no idea what password, because my 'My O2' password is definitely not being accepted.
