I've had a text telling me my bill - and I assume it's my final bill, because I've left o2 - has a balance in my favour of £5.18. I'm told I can have this repaid to me, if I go to 'view bills' in my account - but my account is empty of everything now, including access to bills.
Frustrating.

You should also receive an email of the same, which, at the very bottom, has a link saying “view my bill” which should work and give you the option to request the refund.
