Hi
I have just got an O2 sim and put into my phone and all works well, so I sent for another sim for my wifes phone. Not here yet.
I got a text from O2 to text "SWAP" to activate the sim, and my account shows 2 numbers and shows "Select the product you want to use"
It looks like I can only use the sims in one phone.
HELP.

You need to call and find out what you've ordered.

Call sales as I said above.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@Rick49

It would appear to be in the post to you.

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
Thanks

You can use the sim in any phone you want, the product is related to your devcies.

When you get the new sim just do a sim swap and the new will be activated.

Also have a look at this guide Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update

Just got email

SIM SWAP PROCESS
You can SIM swap using the the SMS service by texting 'Swap' to 20220 or online at http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk 2. The time-scale for these requests to be processed is a maximum of 24 hours.

I don't want to swap the sim, I want to put it into another phone.

You cant have 2 sims with the same number active in 2 phones at the same time.

You can only have 1 active sim per phone number..

I think there is a bit of confusion here @Rick49

In order for each sim to work it has to have a different phone number to another. So sim 1 could be phone number 12345 and sim 2 would be 23456.

You cannot have two sims that have the same number.

Please note, this is not customer services and we cannot access your account. Do not publish personal details (email, phone number, bank account).
