I had the same issue in 2020 when I bought my new phone but trying to charge me 675.00 for there mistake, it’s now on my credit report despite regular contact

When did you give O2 your PAC?
If it was over the weekend (Fri, Sat or Sun), your number should move over on Tuesday. If you gave it to them any other day before 5pm, then it should port over the next working day (if it was after 5pm it's 2 working days).
