Hey, was wondering if anyone could help with this issue:
• I recently switched to Vodafone using my PAC code
• I then cancelled the new Vodafone contract while the switch was still taking place - Vodafone assured me the number port would not take place
• It appears Vodafone incorrectly cancelled it as the number still ported out, but Vodafone claimed they could not access the number or PAC code and that I need to contact O2
• My O2 service was automatically cancelled
• Contacted O2 who told me Vodafone have the number
• Vodafone confirmed this and said they have now released the number so that O2 can reconnect it
• Contacted O2 again who said they can reconnect the number onto a new contract - but the credit check kept failing for some reason so was unable to do it
• O2 advised me to buy a rolling plan SIM and contact them again to reconnect the number
• I did this and called O2 again - I was passed between the Pay as you go and Pay monthly team 4 times and then it became clear that they had no idea what I was talking about
• Called Vodafone again who said they cannot access the number or provide a PAC code
• Still cannot access my old number and don’t know what to do or who to contact
Any advice? Thank you

You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)
