Hi would someone please be able to help me I have been going round in circles for a couple of weeks. I’m trying to get a mortgage but I need to pay of a old default with 02 before applying I have disputed with Experian they have gave me a account number to give the payment management team I have rang about 6 times but keep getting the same outcome no one can find it on the system that I owe any money back from 2019. They had wrote a message to Experian saying that the default is accurate and to ring the 02 number to sort it then it said at the end the outstanding balance has been written of for internal purposes but I need the default to reflect zero on my credit file to apply for a mortgage if anyone can help would be much appreciated.
