Hi, if your wife is entitled to o2 open she just needs a code when she takes out the contract she would have to do it in store or over the phone once the contract is active you have 28 days to use the code the advisor you speak to who sorts out the contract should give you all the instructions on how to do it, the discount will start after your first payment had been taken so from the second bill onwards.
