New O2 App causing wakelock?

Since the new update to the My O2 app (version 😎 im getting random wakelocks that come and go. Ive found that this app is the cultrip as looking in the battery stats the app has kept my phone awake for 3hrs 45 mins today. Weirdly it doesnt seem to effect battery performance, so may go unnoticed. Anyone else found this?

Would you mind un-installing the app for a few days to see if you get any other wakelock issues? I'd like to determine fully if its the app causing it.

Yes i uninstalled the app just after starting this thread a few days ago, the wakelocks went away. I know its the app as the usage stats for the app say so.

The wakelock probably does drain some battery, but not enough to be hugely noticeable, and maybe the reason there isnt widespread reports.

I've noticed this too on my Note 3, which is running Lollipop. Again not a huge drain, but 3-5% in the battery usage screen, often enough to put it at the top of the battery consumption list.

I still have the app uninstalled and no wakelocks. Will wait for any update before reinstalling.

I traded the Note 3 in for a 4 which is running Marshmallow - noticed My O2 had used 5% of the battery on that too despite not having opened it yet that day! So could be not just limited to Lollipop devices so maybe certain phones or makes of phones?
