Need to check that a letter I received is legitima...

I received a phone call from a mobile number offering an upgrade and switch to O2 . They sent me a new iPhone 11 got an email to activate it but the letter it came with was from crown communication and the print was blurry now wondering if it’s a scam ? Not given them any details over phone

Personally I would return it and deal only with O2 directly.

It's probably from a 'trusted' partner or by a company claiming to call on behalf of O2.

If you have the option to return the phone I would recommend you do that

Never buy or take out a contract via a cold call

Customer service may be able to advise about the company.

@Woods We generally advise people to never agree to anything from cold callers. If you're not a business, send the phone back. You could wind up getting locked in to a long and expensive contract.
