I’ve been with virgin Media for a while and now that my phone contract is up I’ve switched to O2 to get the volt benefits. Problem is I can’t access the “myo2” part of my account. The website gives “too many redirects” errors. The app doesn’t let me login either. I’ve tried multiple devices, browsers and clearing cookies etc. Anyone had similar.

Log out of the O2 Community Forum first, it gets the cookies all messed up.

Or try login to web version of MyO2 using an Incognito or InPrivate tab in your browser, @Arkham24601

The little Sign In prompt at top-right seems to work better.

For the App, remove it from your phone, reboot phone, and then reinstall and try again once the web sign-in above has worked.

Good luck!

Thanks. Tried those steps and can login as far as the “my services” page. As soon as I click myo2 in any browser even in incognito I get the too many redirects error. (Lots of accounts / indentity addresses bouncing around in the status bar).

It could be an issue with your account, so maybe worth contacting o2  Guide: How to find help & contact O2

As just tested with my acccount in myo2 and it just went straight in, via the VMo2 Ping Auth pages..

This is not customer services and we dont have access to your account
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company

Sounds like your account is a bit skewy somehow on the O2 side - reach out to O2 via Social Media, they should be able to help better than contacting the call center staff. Link just below for FB, or you can use Instagram if that works. Don't use X, they have a presence but cannot offer support using that platform. Good luck, @Arkham24601

It is possible they will need tech support help to do this, which can take a while - keep at them via the same channel you first contacted them.

I've just tried to get into My O2 on my PC.

I got this :

You are in a queue. Please wait.

30 seconds later I'm in.

I first saw that yesterday around 1pm, interesting way of throttling access to all those wonderful new pre-order iPhones, I thought...

I got in no problem, using the QR code as I was Incognito 🎩, just before 10am, no queuing.

I had the 'queue' page yesterday and at one time the queue was 33 minutes

Appalling....
