Airtime Rewards

I noticed the Airtime Rewards app on the MyO2 app last month, I was a bit sceptical but as it was through MyO2 I trusted it.

I signed up, added a card and without even doing anything I've earned £10 off my bill already from doing my weeks food shop in Waitrose.

I believe it works on pay-as-you go as well as pay monthly, but not sure about business accounts.

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up if you haven't seen it yet - and you also get a free £3 for being on O2.

Has anyone else had any luck with it?

Well done @alexsmyth94

I haven't got a Refresh contract but it sounds as if you found benefit from it...wink

Re: Airtime Rewards

What with details being stolen from everywhere I’m not sure about giving details of my cards & purchases to a secondary site..

but it’s great that you’re getting some cash back!

I haven't either - it works with all pay monthly and pay as you go I think!

But yes - great benefit 😊

Re: Airtime Rewards

I thought the same, but when I looked on their support site I found

'All your details are stored securely and encrypted with your card provider VISA / MASTERCARD.'

So I believe it's pretty secure!

Re: Airtime Rewards

Thanks for the heads up @alexsmyth94.

I've just signed up, so will let you know how I get on and, as I'm on a business account, that it works for me.

Again thanks @alexsmyth94 for the information, as a regular online Waitrose shopper it will prove very beneficial to me smile

Re: Airtime Rewards

I'm not sure on this, so will stay with the cashback sites. I understand there model as they take a chunk of the commision but dont get this Airtime Rewards.

Re: Airtime Rewards

Hey @dgilbert2

It's basically the same as a cashback site, in fact in my opinon probably easier!

You just add your card on to the app or their website, and when you spend in the retailers they have (most favoured are probs waitrose and prezzo), you'll get like 3% back in cashback, which you can then redeem off your mobile bill once you've earned £5 Smiley Happy
