Hi,

I already have a handset on my O2 account.

I want to add a 'phone only' to my existing account, as my wife already has a sim card.

Am I able to do this? If so, can someone please advise me how to do it please?

Thanks and regards.

To get a phone only you would have to buy it outright.

In order to get a contract monthly phone, you would need to take an airtime plan as well.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thanks @MI5 for your response.

How do I do this, adding a phone and paying outright, on my existing MyO2 account?

Regards

In store or in the shop pages here on the O2 website.

Just choose what you want and buy it.

It will be added to your account automatically.

@MichaelMac67 If you're going to buy a phone outright, you should shop around. Chances are you can find it for less than what it will cost buying it from O2.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Hi

I am not sure that the first answer gets to the core of the problem.

We have two phones with O2 sims.  I have an O2 Account but we do not have an account for the other as the PAYG sim has always been topped up in a local convenience store using the O2 top up card.  We are now Covid constrained and cannot go out (Somebody in the hairdressers was Positive and not masked). Simple solution is to add the card to my account but O2's website seems impervious to the idea.

It is hardly rocket science to add another card.

Regards

Pete
