Sim only upgrade from uswitch

My current deal has just expired and I’d like to upgrade to a deal I’ve found on uswitch.

Last time I done this I could select an option where I could upgrade my existing deal, but this time when I go to checkout, it’s just going through as a new deal and I cannot see an option for the upgrade even when signed into my account.

Do I need to take it out as a new deal and cancel my current or should the option appear? I’d like to keep my current number as well

@Luke752

You should be able to choose to upgrade.

Myself and 4 others on here have done the same recently.

Try clearing cache and cookies, a different browser or incognito mode.

Interesting. I upgrades a week or so ago, but you are right this time it takes me right through to the deal with no option to upgrade.

Hang fire and wait to see what other members find

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Tried again this morning but still the same, will give it more time and try again.

I did try raising the issue on live chat but they weren’t much help.

Give it a couple of days @Luke752 and try again. I wonder whether the price-rise cut-off has something to do with it. 👍

Missing also on Moneysaving Supermarket so looks like O2 have stopped upgrades that way for now.

Pleased to read this as I thought it was just me that was having this issue. I contacted O2 support but they said they couldn’t assist me because the sim only deal was through a third party.

If time is not of the essence @chrismid259, I would be inclined to wait a few days and try again.

Hopefully, this will resolve itself ! 👍
