I was initially trying to get advice regarding only being able to make outgoing texts to other O2 phones but not incoming ones and failed at the first hurdle because when I tried to log into My O2 it sent a 6 digit code to my phone but said it was unable to connect me when I entered it because there was another user?

@Flora Something is obviously awry with your MyO2 registration. You'll need to speak to customer service. Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Because you're not buying anything, O2 doesn't consider your call important, so use the Upgrade, Lost/Stolen, or Fraud option if you have to, to get through. Otherwise you'll just be disconnected.
If you can use your phone, this is alternative advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
You may have to use the Upgrade, Lost/Stolen, or Fraud option here too.

As I am unable to solve the issue with not getting incoming texts from other O2 phones, I would like to request a replacement SIM. However I cannot find any way of doing so as all links, phone calls, and so on take me back to the same place without ever encountering a person or computer that can help me. Any suggestions?
