02 priority

hello, I'm thinking about swithing to an 02 sim. I've read that in order to be eligle for 02 priority you must have an 02 number. So if I switch to an 02 sim but want to keep my old number will I not be eligible for 02 priority?

The number does not matter provided you are accessing Priority via an O2 account
