Why have i recently had loads spam calls ?

I have been busy last 4 months with my mum being very ill and could have done without them rage

I dont always answer numbers i dont know but have had calls from people to do with mum and answered because i didnt want to miss important calls.

In work we not supposed to be answering phone so that got on my nerves when i answered and a stupid recording or person was on the other end.

Last week i blocked a number about an accident i had had and lo and behold they somehow managed to ring again.

I asked woman which accident she was talking about wink

Said the one i was a passenger in 4 months ago mmm

Which ? that could have been 3 accidents i was in around then wink

Eventually she hung up Drum

I have a lovely long list of blocked numbers slight_smile

I have also noticed an great increase in spam calls this week.

Many from a 'Private number' which of course can't be blocked.

Like you, I have also got a long list of blocked numbers @Poppysmum

Your number has become one of the spammer's live numbers @Poppysmum. Nothing you can do but keep blocking them, or change your number. O2 allows one change free.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I also tell them to take my number off their list because i am not interested.

Wonder if saying this as made them worse and i should just cuss and block if possible .

You can register your number with the TPS which won't stop everything but will help with some of it.

Get the names of the companies calling you then and report them to the TPS.
They can issue fines. You can also tell the callers you are TPS registered and that you will be reporting them - that should stop them.
