why does my phone say limited service?

Help! my phone says limited service, emergency calls only. Im on call and I need service, my partners phone is working fine??

Try pulling the battery and give the sim card a gentle clean.

First off, try rebooting your phone and then cleaning the sim card.
If there is still a problem, see if your partner's phone works ok with your sim card.
This will tell you if your phone's at fault or whether the problem is with your sim or account.

I had this last night but it fixed itself during the night, maybe theres a problem with a transmitter near you? ? ?
Anyone else in your house or maybe next door with O2? ask if they have a signal.
