new contract first bill due date is 02/01/2015

First bill due date is 02/01/2015 does this mean the direct debit set up will automaticaly come out my bank on the 02/01/2015 or later

On the 2nd if that is the date it says your bill will be collected. You can check it in your My O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

It doesnt show my bill balance just says first bill to be issued on 02/01/2015

If the 2nd is the date your bill is generated it won't be collected until around 14 days later.
When did you start the contract?

Click on "Latest Bill" and it will show you 2 dates.
First is "You were billed on" and second "Payment due on"
The second date is when they will take the DD.
