i have a contract for £30 a month over 24months on my samsung tocca ultra!
i want an iphone and for £30 a month i could have that instead.
thing is how do i get out of my contract or if i cant will 02 change my phone?

Your options basically are, pay off your contract which would be your current line rental times the amount of months left. Or you could buy the handset on pay as you go and then change your tariff to an Iphone tariff.

Don't become a Doctor, they have too many patients. lol.

... and you may be able to sell your current phone (if it's still decent nick) on ebay and get a few quid back.

I phoned 02 today and asked the same question, I was told the only thing I could do was to buy myself out of my contract and start a new contract with the i phone, but would also have to buy the i phone !!!!

you wouldn't have to buy the iphone - but dependent on the model and tariff you want, you may have to make some payment towards it.
