Their warning would have explained why they gave you an infraction.

To be fair they usually, don't they will give you a vague explanation but not tell you what post or what you said so if you post a few you are not sure.

I've had a moderator make minor edits to a post in the past for "vulgarity", which I took to mean that I used swear words a couple of times. If you post something that may cause offence to others, don't be surprised if it gets altered. If you don't like it, don't post.
