Yes that does look a little girly, but it's nice. I use Swype. Suits my needs. I tried SwiftKey, but I didn't like it. I think I'll try this app on my tablet and see how it goes. Thanks for the heads up @Cairdeas
@Cleoriff there are lots of different themes. Maybe there's a different one that would be to your liking.

Way too much bling for my liking.
Another nod for Swype here, tried alternatives but I find the copy and paste shortcut too usefull to switch to anything else.
Only gripe - the lollipop colour theme does not show the press and hold alternatives for the keys.
