Just so you don't have any bill shock, if you go ahead and believe what O2 have told you and use 30gb a month in Spain without O2 travel, it will cost you £1,290 .00 per month for data alone.

Please believe what we say here, many of us travel regularly and know that data allowance is for the UK only.

Out of curiosity, do you have an iPhone 7 on one of the 30Gb tariff's with inclusive o2 travel on your account or where your sim card came from, as I cant ever recall a 30Gb data package on MBB, just a 20Gb max (currently 40Gb)??

That still wouldn't allow you to use UK data abroad.

It would just save the 1.99 a day travel charge.....

@jonsieThe op did said he was wanting to use a Huawei Hotspot, what i was trying to ascertain was had the op taken the sim card out of another device and put it into the hotspot to use the data allowance that came with the original handset..

@mi5 true, but that saving means he would save £60ish per month, and get an allowance of 4.5Gb of data based on 150Mb per day

The Op never mentioned 4G, just that could he use his device with his allowance without any additional cost.
