They collect the extra money after a few months. They make appear the bill only with a very little variation of a few pounds more or less, so you do not bother to check and you think everything is ok. This is the trick. They make you believe that you use only the minutes stated in the contract but at the end of 6 months they collect the extra money for the extra calls from your account without any warning and you have to pay a very high VAT.
VERY CLEVER !!! AREN'T THEY?

Any extra calls are charged on a monthly basis, Vat has always been included in your phone bill.
There is no trick to it and if you download the MyO2 app you can check the bill as often as you like.

I can see you are upset...but why didn't you read the terms and conditions of your contract before you signed up for it? Surely you would know what you would be paying for...

They don't collect the extra mins over your allowance every six months, as others have said you have misunderstood your bill and clearly have exceeded the allowances.

All charges and calls are itemised in My O2. It's possible that you are calling 08 numbers not covered by your allowances.
