Hi,
Whats changed since my previous renewal to make o2 completely opposed to making a deal with renewing customers? currently on an iphone tariff (£40 with £15 discount (£25)) and they won't even try and shift from their normal prices on regular tariffs if i were to change my phone.
A ridiculous stance that has forced me to go elsewhere.

Is the problem just that you lose the discount if you upgrade/renew because I'm fairly sure that no operator will give you a £15 discount on a new contract?

the (one of) better deal is....
o2: Nokia N8 (£49, knocked down from £89), 24 month contract, 300 mins, unlimited texts, 500 mb data £30 per month
Ended up with orange: Nokia N8 (FREE), 24 month contract, 300 mins, unlimited texts, 1gb data £25 per month
i wasn't altogether that fussed about retaining my £15 discount, it was the fact that o2 would not budge, not even to match a better sim only deal from another provider. (Although, i can see why going to tesco mobile wouldnt bother them)
